Born: September 18, 1894 in Topeka, Kansas*.

Died: September 25, 1989

Place of burial:

Spouse: Horace Wells Williams m. October 7, 1922 in Troy, New York.

Children: Thomas Wells Williams (Married Harriett, and they adopted 4 children, Cheryl, Brian, Pamela, and Matthew.)

Theodore James Williams (Married Janis Miller, and they have 3 children, Wendy, Robin, and Mark.)

Father’s name: Frank John Brooks

Mother’s name: Mary Elizabeth (Briggs) Brooks

Siblings: Eunice Ruth (Brooks) Wingrove

Frances Josephine (Brooks) Kowald

*While her Social Security Number was issued in New York, the family Bible clearly shows her born in Topeka, Kansas. She also apparently used B. (for Brooks) as a middle initial.

Granddaughter Ruth Ann Peake, daughter of son Thomas, shares this, “I don't know if you knew or not, but my father and Aunt Helen were raised by Aunt Carrie and Uncle Clarence Ryan.  They never had children and Grandma Brooks had so many children to raise, and Aunt Helen was (as they said then) "sickly", so they sent the only boy and the little girl to live with their aunt and uncle in Troy, NY at a farm called "The Maples".  Daddy loved the life there, and I think they were spoiled.   Daddy and Aunt Helen always remained close.”

At some point they lived in Pennsylvania.
