My mother’s notes say that Frances left with her 5 daughters (from Obermarksloch, Germany?) in 1912 to Antwerp where they immigrated to the USA.  Their Port of Entry was Montreal, Quebec, Canada.  They then traveled through Sault Ste Marie to Chicago then to New Baden, Illinois where she joined her husband Joseph.  She naturalized at the same time as her husband on September 16, 1924.  The 1920 census also shows Frances as having immigrated in 1912.

Frances had diabetes and it is remembered that her son, Albert, would help with the insulin shots.

The photo is dated March 18, 1937.
