By 1925 they had moved to 719 Lawrence Street near downtown Appleton and Lawrence University. (This became 231 E. Lawrence in Appleton’s renumbering of addresses.) Widowed mother Cornelia is still with them. Also in the home are their children Harriet, Harry, and James. Their other children, George and Eugene had already married and/or moved on by this time.

** Son Harry attended Lawrence University starting in 1921. He does not appear in the yearbooks after his Sophomore year.
