First wife Mary may also have died on the same date as Henrie.  Was there some event?

*I have also seen the year for the marriage as 1596 and 1599.  Mary is the daughter of John Hinckes and Elizabeth Mytar.  Name may also be spelled Hynckes

**Rebecca was presumably murdered by her son Thomas Cornell (jr.).   He was tried, found guilty and hung because of a “vision” that her brother John had.  More details available at Pane-Joyce Genealogy.   Rebecca was born October 25, 1600 in London, Middlesex, England. She died on February 8, 1673 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.  She married Thomas Cornell in 1620.  Thomas was born on March 24, 1594 in Fairstead Manor, Essex, England.  He died in 1655 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.  They may have had as many as 17 children.
